Semi Horrible err Homemade Slop err Cooking

You know Scamdra err Sandra Lee is one of those people who always takes the shortcut rather than doing it properly. It's just amazing what she can do with store bought and home made ingredients. There really is nothing special about this concept. If you make a russipe and just slop everything together then what have you accomplished. Not a damn thing. When Scamdra decided to make the Kwanzaa cake it just looks disgusting. Like Anthony Bourdain said you really can't go back. Same with the Cinnamon Roll Bread pudding by Kulleen. To top it all off you must have a fucking perfect tablescape. Spending more time on the table scape then on the food is a fucking lame idea.

Then Sandra Lee decided to repackage her slop with a few changes and make Money Wasting err Money saving meals. Same idea but your supposed to try to save money. Just another way to capitalize in a tough economy. Some of the stuff that she makes is just as disgusting if not worse than Semi Homemade. I saw the video where she made Chicken thighs and it looked a bit sloppy. Then she goes to making her drinks which she usually does in her Semi Homemade slop shows.

There is however a community that's against her lies. It's called Semi Horrible cooking. This community reviews Sandra Lee episodes and the creator uhhuhhim1 even makes videos that parody her. Good job Andrew. His comments on this youtube videos are priceless and very amusing. He emulates Scamdra very well. Finally he critiques shows that feature her and they too are very funny.

You can view the community by logging on to http://community.livejournal.com/semihorrible. His youtube channel is http://youtube.com/semihorrible where you can view all of his russipes.

I probably should end this rant but remember keep it stupid, keep it stale, keep it sloppy and always keep it semi horrible. Oh wait keep it sweet, keep it delicious, keep it awesome and always keep it homemade.
